Removing barbarians

Is there any way to somehow code the barbarians out of the game? They just come out of nowhere, which is very unrealistic, and destroy all my terrain improvements. The game is really not fun to play because of them. Anybody know of a cheat or hack that can remove them?

No known way of removing them. Unless you're quick with a hex editor that is..
