removing the 2050AD turn limit.

Hello, to be straight to the point, i simply want to play the game without the fact that I'm limited to play until 2050 AD. Honestly, i havent reached that time yet, but in my current game around 150 turns (1400 AD+), the popup already warned me about this limit and i was worrying that i wont reach higher techs around that time.

First, what does this mean? Can this be disabled once i disable the Time in the victory types? on the advanced setup? After reaching/getting past that time, will i still be able to win through other victory types?

You can play past that time. A normal game ends at 2050, but you can select one more turn, and keep playing. Or when you setup a game there is an option in the advanced set up too I believe. Or deselect time win category too.

2050 is the turn limit on a normal game. Once you reach that point the game will be scored and the winner will be picked by the highest score.

Once you reach that point no other victories will count, though you can play beyond that point and have fun, but the game won't score those points made after 2050. Right now i don't think there are anyways to turn off the limit.
But don't worry you will get about 480 turn in the game to win..

Yes i saw that check box on the advanced setup...but i havent actually tried reaching 2050 AD with it atm....'sigh'...i currently have no time LOL

If it doesnt work, what's the point of adding that checkbox anyway?!
