I have had G&K for a while now, and it ran fine up until yesterday, when I installed Windows 8.1. Now it runs great except for one annoying and easily repeatable bug. The steps to repeat are;
Before this worked fine, but now it crashes nastily with the error DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED. I'm not certain if this is a civ or a driver issue, so if someone else who is running the preview and not using Intel HD 4000 graphics could test this it would help narrow down who I need to file a bug report with.
- On a machine running Windows 8.1 (the preview that came out Wednesday), load up a save in G&K.
- End the turn.
- During the end turn zoom out as far as the window will go.
