can someone please make a file that explains all these acronyms i keep seeing? it seems like every portion of every add on program has some different file extensions and acronyms for things. can anyone make a list of what each one is?

I don't know about the other acronyms (maybe I can put a list together later), but here is a list of common file extensions, what they are, and what to do with them.

great!! that clears up a lot of the .flc and such questions i had before. now, do you know of any other programs or games that use the .flc extension, or is it unique to civ? ive done a little work on some java based games, but never anything on something this involved :-)

oh, one other thing. what programs can save files as .flc? i figure i have to save any new animations as .flc so i can open them in flicster, right?

Does anyone know what happens when you go to a mobilization for war footing in the domestic advisers menu?

war-time mobilization is covered in the civolopedia if you go to the index and look for mobilization.

basically, in war-time mob, you cant build anything but military units and buildings. also, every citizen of a city builds one extra shield per turn. thats about it.

oh, one other thing that really annoyed me, if you do war-time mob while not at war with anyone, you can only go back after you go to war and then peace with another civ.
