[Request] Mod - To gift units

In the Civ 5 and 4 we have the "Gift unit" (to teammate) option. In Civ 6 we have not it, but we have teams (in multiplayer).

I really wish we could gift units to major and minor civilizations, there is a major civ I declared friend and short after they declared war on a minor civ I suzerain and I wanted to defend them but I can't do anything about it, however while messing around with game files I found UNITCOMMAND_GIFT in UnitCommands.xml also has an Icon in Icons_UnitActions.xml, the option to gift units is hidden in there but so far I couldn't make it work but I'm not that good at modding maybe someone will figure it out.

I would love to have this option back... I used to build and trade units with my friends in hotseat mode all the time.
