Research Queue

Can anyone tell me how to create one?

Hold shift while you click on a building or unit in the city screen.

No, I don't mean a build Queue, thank you very much. In the Civ4 guide I've just purchased it refers to a "research queue" i.e technologies.

Ok. I think you do it by clicking a tech you can't research yet, then you will automatically research the shortest route to that tech. There might be another way to do something similar, I don't know.

Shift-click works for research as well.
