Researching advances

Hi Everyone,

Many thanks for your help with my last question and now I'm hoping you can help me with the next.

Once a civ has started researching a particular advance is there any way to change it to a different advance

Changing to another advance without discovering it is not possible. It is possible to change when an AI-civ has that tech and you can get it from him. At the start of the next turn you can choose another tech to research. without the loss of beakers.
