resolution doesn't stay!!!

I have no idea what's wrong, but it's been doing this ever since I used the latest patch. The game opens up with 1028x768 resolution, but I've been playing it on 1650x1080 resolution for a long time. How can I make the game open up with the latter resolution?

Game reverts to all default in game settings after you load the patch.

You have to reset them inside the game option screen.

i actually have the same problem, i havta reset it to 1680x1050 in the options every time i start the game since i patched it..i just havent bothered bringing it up since i've been too busy trying to fix all the other problems the 1.52 patch caused to my game....

Make sure you guys report what you do, what you see happening and what you suspected should have happened. Keep it simple, and provide steps what you do and email it to

Also, check http://www.2kgames.com/civ4/support_logging.htm how to enable logging if you need it.

I see that the ini file allows for hardwired resolution as well.
