This is a very important poll. Please, all citizens vote on this important subject. There are few options and we must not make a mistake.
Options:
1. Acquire Monarchy from C3B and revolt as soon SoZ and barracks in TF are ready. Stay in Monarchy for the forseeable future. May be a good choice. If the game would be short (no more than 150 turns total), it can be the best choice. However, being in Monarchy deprives our treasury of a trade bonus.
2. Acquire Monarchy from C3B and revolt as soon SoZ and barracks in TF are ready. Research or trade for Republic and then revolt to Republic. This means having two Anarchy periods. May be a good choice but we might have trouble surviving two Anarchy periods. May be a decent choice for a longer game (over 150 turns).
3. Acquire Monarchy from C3B but stay in Despotism to avoid Anarchy. Then, research Republic and revolt to Republic. May be a good choice, as good as number 1 though aimed at a slightly longer game (over 150 turns).
4. Revolt to another form of government, for example, to Feudalism. IMO, this government is a poor choice because of relatively high corruption. Also, it would take a long time to research this type of government. However, this option is also a possibility to build up a large military for invasion.
Rough estimate of C3B research rate shows that we can expect Monarchy from them in a few turns (from 3 to 6). Please discuss and vote.
