Hello dear community

As I read on Rhye's website - civ5 version is now in progress. But there s still could be alternatives and that is what Im looking for. I started topic about start locations some months ago in another subsector od forum. In fact it wasnt too much helpful but gave me ideas to look for some mods more deeply. I found pretty much of them. But its all wasnt soo easy - some are bugged and some requares too good machine. So I found good mod, named "Legendary Earth". Its avalaible in Steam Workshop and its pretty nice but its much more lighter version of Rhye of Fall hah. Maybe there is possible to add more civs or real starting dates? So Im still looking for this stuff. Maybe someone already tried something in this direction and can give me some advices which mods are better to use (or there is some modpacks etc).
Also does anymoby knows about news from Rhye?.. Maybe somone is watching for his activity for some period of time. :)

Checkout the Yet Another Earth Maps Pack. There are different versions (22, 43, etc. civs).

Also did you mean the game or the mod was in progress? If you mean the game, they are on CIv 6 now.

Hey, thank you for answer! I already found "Yet Another". But not sure which I need to use. I tried 22 on huhe map (i think for 18 civs max, dont remember), combined with real spawn dates. So I spawned as Germany in 1000ad, but I had prehistoric era, not medieval. But some another CiVs had already xcom units.

Also as I tried Legendary Earth - I played it on "prince" difficulty, but most of ai are more into even not warlod 0_0 they are too passive. And I switched their mode in map settigs with SDk tool. So... Weird 0_0 AND chrisiamity are never adopted. Not even easter orthodoxy, but another religios are ok. As Germany, I build shrines, Temple, learned philosophy and still no any religious creating except Patnheon. But maybe this mod which you mentioned will be ok, even without real date spawn. But can you explain how to use it/- which civ pack i need to use etc

It is set to work with all the default civilizations. If you want to use a customized civilization, you will need to check the mod support list for each one.

SO then I found ""Yet (not) Another Earth Maps", and there is 43 civs, 34 civs and 22 civs, and if i dont want to use custom civs, I just need to use 22 civs pack, right?

That is the one I use. To me more than that just is not realistic in any modded map because there is not really no room for more than 22 civs.

Exactly. I played Legendary Earth as Germany, and Spain and France was pretty passive, and UK as well. I won 2 battles against them in the classical era, and they had stagnation after it. Its normal difficulty. But I think better just to reduce amount of civs on even huge map, and not place 22 there.. And I just realised there is 43 civs in Civ5 with all expansions. Maybe that is because maybe I had problems with Yet Another Mod pack - I used 22 pack. So thank you. I will try how it will be now
