7zip for 2.92 didn't work when I follwed Zappara's directions. It gave me a diagnostic which said 4 files couldn't be unzipped. IZarc said I couldn't write to that directory so I tried merging old and new folder (I've known this to work for another mod) but now many of AAranda's religious buildings i.e. Asatru temple, Scientology building, ect.)are missing from the civlopedia (my computer made me aware when it said that the TAG was not valid as part of a series of XML errors). I'm not completely sure but I think I had version 2.71 before downloading 2.92 (from atomic gamer not the torrent). I tried installing the 2.92 on its own but then the civilopedia didn't come up at all. BTW I am up to 3.19.

I have no programming/python/xml experience please help. :(

1. If 7z wouldn't un zip the mod you most likely have a bad D/L. Did you try to D/L a 2nd time?
2. Did you check to see if there was a Rise Of Mankind folder with another Rise Of Mankind folder inside of it? If there was use the inside (nested) folder.
3. If you have 2.71 still in the ...BtS\Mods folder it will interfere with 2.92's loading. All previous versions of RoM Must be removed from the Mod folder before placing 2.92 in it. (just put them in a separate folder in say My Documents for safe keeping (I've built a complete directory there for all my Civ IV/BtS Mods so I can switch anytime I want)
4. After installing RoM2.92, while the Mod is loading, hold the Shift key down, especially if you have chosen the Custom Game Option at Mod start up. This clears the cache for the BtS .ini file. So previously saved set up data is removed. Or you can select Play Now from the single player options once the Mod is loaded. This also clears the cache.
