I am just wondering if anyone has or is going to make this Scenario? It would be awesome!

The map would be European Russia, Finland, and most of Eastern Europe.

The Civs should be...

The White Army (Czarist)
The Red Army (Bolshivek)
Ukraine (It became independant in 1920 I think)
Finland
Poland

Now, there were American and British soldiers in the Civil War too, so to show this we could just add some Infantry units on the White Army side to show it.

UU's:

The White Army: Cossack
The Red Army: Red Army Infantry
Ukraine: Ukrainian Insurgent Militia
Finland: ????? Anyone care to suggest ?????
Poland: Hussar/Modern Hussar or something...

The White Army, who controls Murmansk, will get 5 British and 5 American Infantry. And it will produce 1 British infantry every 10 turns.

I'll need to get an exact map for this. it should be around 1920 when Ukraine became independant and was the height of the Civil War...

What shall happen? Shall you be Communist, destroy the Czarists and invade Poland? or shall you be Czarist and destroy the Revolution and retake Ukraine and Finland? or, shall you be one of the Independent nations of Finland and Ukraine, and try to hold off the Russian forces. Or shall you be Poland, as the ever increasing Civil War rages on, you invade to retake Polish land..

What about Belarus and Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia...If i am not mistaken..for awhile Belarus was united with Lithuania.
If you really wanted, the British, Japanese, Chinese, and Turks, all tried to grab up former Russian territoryin the chaos, but I am guessing this map focuses more on Europe...Otherwise you could go full out with Mongolia, Sinkiang, Kazakhs, Uzbecks, Iran...etc.

Yes, I was thinking that.... I forgot about Byelorussiya....

British should be represented by units given to to White Army.

Strictly speaking, at the start of the scenario, the only Civs at war are the Czarists and the Bolshivek's... It is going to be hard since there wasnt a one side to mass troops on... each group was all over the place, random places everywhere.

Oh! Maybe to start off the scenario, like in the C3C Pacific Mod, Red Army can only do one with before there turn ends. They execute the King (Represented by Otto von Bismarck?) and then the next turns start.

Now for attributes...

Ukraine: Democracy (Im pretty sure they seceded into one)
Agricultural and Religious? (The Orthodox church was pretty strong)

White Army: Monarchy
Religious and Militaristic

Red Army: Communist (We'll rename it to Bolshevism)
Militaristic and Expansionist? or Industrial?

Finland: I have no idea, probably a Democracy.
???? and ???? if anyone would like to post traits.. go ahead.

Byelorussiya (Belarus): Republic... ?????
Agricultural and Commercial? I dunno..

Latvia: Democracy I guess...
Commercial and Scientific????

Estonia: Republic ????
Scientific and Seafaring? (There will only be a TINY bit of water)

People help me out here, hehe

Just some quick suggestions...

Ukraine after WW1 had the "democratic" Directory - which would be better modeled by Republic but I'd make corruption higher at the very least, it had a great deal of difficulty getting anything done or keeping an army in the field. However, while the Germans could prop it up it was governed by the autocratic Hetmanate

The Whites were actually several governments ranging from the socialist Komuch to Kolchak's very reactionary government in Siberia. They should probably be modeled as several factions (of differing governments) in locked alliance since they never cooperated very much anyway and no one group had genuine authority over the ohers.

Belarus is questionable as a faction depending on the start date. It had a weaker indepedence faction and pretty much got steamrolled by the Reds, Poles, and Whites. Agricultural and Religious would be my suggestion though.

I think the Reds should be Industrious and Expansionist. It took them a LONG time to create the Red Army in an efficient form and generally lagged far behind the Whites in military expertise. Make them work at it to build a good army, but the industrious aspect should allow them a big one ;)

For UU's I'd suggest

Reds
- Red guard militia, weak but cheap
- "Shock" infantry units, usually composed of sailors and workers, regular infantry with extra hit points

Poles
- Lancer, a better cavalry (higher attack)

Whites
- Cossack
- "Volunteer" elite infantry with higher Att/Def and extra hitpoints (these could be generated every few turns perhaps)

"White" Finland
- (term eludes me) had a superb militia, cheap but effective

Ukraine
- perhaps a slightly more effective Partisan (guerrilla) style unit (higher defense)

One extra I can't resist: the Anarchists can't be left out
- "Tatyanka" - machine gun on peasant cart, a very mobile guerrilla perhaps.

Just as an added note the conscipt unit for everyone should be a VERY poor militia (like the Red Guards but maybe a little more expensive)

You can't forget the armored trains. There were Civ2 scens that tried to have them, but naturally, they weren't always used on railroads. But with Civ3, you can make all terrain wheeled, and thus allow the trains only to be used on railways.
Also the Czech legion must be in. They were the spark that ignited the war, and managed to control a vast expanse of the Trans-Siberian Railway. I think the map should go all the way to the far east also, and that the idea to include many White civs in locked alliance is a good one.
I can dig up some links for Civil War related things, like the different independent white republics that existed at various times.
