Well, guys, as part of an intensive fact finding mission about the city of Geneva, I've been examining its hospital facilities at first hand today. The Hopitaux Universitaires de Geneve gets a particulalry big thumbs up from me - the saline drip, IV antibiotics, pain relief and nausea control are all worth mentioning. The ambulance staff also rate well, though the driver could have been more slow and gentle as he drove to the hospital (and, frankly, the siren was downright distracting).
I'm slightly unsure about having been released back into the community (i.e. the wonderful Hotel Crud) this evening, but I guess the vomiting has stopped. The diarrhea, on the other hand, is something you want to keep continuing, according to my wonderful H.U.G. (ain't that a great acronym for a hospital ?!) docteur. Actually, now I mention it, I think I have to nip quickly away from my laptop now...
