So, in Fall Further barbarians/savages can spawn right outside your border, and in large numbers too, so fogbusting don't work.
Does this only happen to the human? The score leader? Or is it universal?
Now, I hate this "feature", but how does the AI cope? I know I can, but I can't see the AI doing well against such large numbers, more so on the lower difficulties.
And, just in case I'm going to despise it more than I do now, how do I remove this "feature"?

It happens to everyone, everywhere.

Personally, I rather like it. Barbarians will happily suicide against fortified positions, and provide easy free xp. Especially useful if you're Sidar.

The AI handles it well enough with the development version (it managed to hold it's own on the old version too, unless they fell behind in tech, which did happen too frequently). They do occasionally get caught out and beaten by barbarians, but I'm perfectly fine with that so long as it's not the majority case. Even human players can fall afoul of FfH barbs if they're not careful or unlucky.

Be wary of having borders with Savage-friendly civs though, such as the Clan of Embers. They allow savage barbarians to spawn inside their lands, which means you've got a small block of barb-spawning area even when the continent is fully covered by culture.

So THIS is where do these trolls come from... Thanks for the info :).

Thanks for the warning.
It's not like it's not a great mod, it is, I just disagree with some of the design decisions, but with such an extensive mod, it would be odd if I didn't.

I'd agree with this addition instead. I don't see how "vision" can stop barbarians from gathering. You need some manpower to deal with them :).

With vision, you know they are gathering, can stop the most troublesome leaders (Esus and assassins are your friend ;) ) and wouldn't be surprised when army suddenly pops up next to your settler.
