save problem

last time when i installed game i had troubles about saving game and keeping graphic options. I was starting game changing graphic options but it wasnt changing anythng. When i start a game or when i restart whole game i was noticing that graphic options were all same ... also i wasnt able to save or find save files to load. or if i remember right eventho i found somethng it was giving error while loading. I bought "Civilization IV Complete"

help me pls, i might be playing it if it worked...

well by quick saving i solved the problem somehow i quick save and quick load but now my other problem still remains.. i start game change anti aliasing and resulotion and all to high..cuz i want to play high quality..however when i start game it does not effect ( anti-alias ) says must restart game to have options changed..when i do..i go back graphic options tab and see all graphic options are again changed back to default version...is there a way to solve this by using game folders? changing some texts? or anythng else?

Do you get a warning to say that your pc is below the minimum specs and that all the options are being set to minimum? If so there is a setting in the beyond the sword CivilizationIV.ini file:

; Don't show minimum specification warnings
HideMinSpecWarning = 0

Change the 0 to 1

That should stop the warning and the settings being reset.

Sometimes this doesn't work and you have to make the .ini file read only after you have the setting you want.
