Scenario not Working

I downloaded Earth 2010 and Giant Earth Scenario (the one with 1,100 cities), both of which are BTS mods. I downloaded them, put them in BTS's mods folder, which has worked with other mods. I was able to load them (advanced : load mod) and from the Civilopedia it seems like all the data is there- Leader Heads, Civs, Units, but there is no option to play the scenario.

There are two maps in each mod under PublicMaps, and I have tried putting them into BTS' public maps, as well as keeping them where they are, but I still can use neither that map, or the scenario.

These are two different mods, by different people, so I assume the problem is not with them. Has anyone had these problems? Any suggestions?

I have the game on windows, through Steam.

In the mod, try changing the folder name to "PrivateMaps". Most mods I know give it this name.

Alternatively, try putting the scenarios in your Worldbuilder saves folder. You can find where this is by going into Worldbuilder in-game, then clicking "Save" and then looking at what the directory is. For me it is Documents/My Games/Beyond the Sword/Saves/Worldbuilder, but it may be different for you.

Another possibility is that you need to put it in a different mods folder. Somehow I have two different BTS Mods folders (though this may be because I own both the disc version and the steam version), one at Documents/My Games/Beyond the Sword/MODS and another at OS (C:)/Program Files (x86)/2k Games/Firaxis Games/Sid Meier's Civilization 4 Complete/Beyond the Sword/Mods. I put my mods in the latter, maybe you could try the same?
