Here's Rome in the Modern World II (YES TWO!)

There's a total of 28 nations! The game is set up for you to plas as Rome, to change that go into the scenario editor and de-select Player 1 (Rome) as the human player and select the nation you wish to play.

Updates Galore!
South America isn't just Brazil now!
Africa is more then Rome in the North, and South Africa in the... well South. England, still a shadow of it's former self, has a few outposts outside the U.K.
South East Asia, and East Asia have a few more nations.
Mongolia (in it's real life form) Is now represented!
Scandinavia (No, I didn't seperate the three nations) is added!
Greenland is occupied!
The Panama Canal exists!
NAMED ships (all of them) for Rome, England, and America!
UUs for various nations: T-90 for Russia, English Infantry for (well, England), The Anzac for Australia, and one or two more! (Plus the original UUs).
Australia and Japan have more influence!
Better names for Russian, and Canadian cities!
Almost all (if not all) cities that could be converted from Spanish, French, or Portugease to Latin have been so converted!
A Detailed civilopedia (with working icons for the new units, and civs!)
Detailed history laid out in the Civilopedia.
I'm probably forgetting quite a bit!

I HIGHLY recommend you use Snoopy's graphics mod... they just look great in this scenario1 (Also Lush Cities (or Snoopy's if he modded them) ) are also recommended.

PLEASE, respond to the poll if you downloaded. I'd like to see how many people downloaded the scenario!

Thanks again! Please post comments/Contrutive Criticism here.

Depending on the feedback I just may work on version III, but I don't see where else I could go with this.

More Alternate History scenarios to come!

I hope you enjoy it! Again is you have any remarks, suggestions, or have constructive criticism please post it here.

A friend (who recieved it on CD) who doesn't come here told me to cast a vote on her behalf.

You have to Dezip them as well... each level down... I had to do that to maintain organization as Winzip is annoying! ;-)

Also... read the readme.txt

You'll have to copy some art folders play the scenario. Be sure to follow the Read me. If you have questions, ask. :)

Thanks, we're taking my sister to the airport. When we get back I'll take some screenshots. I'll probably take one or two of Europe, another one or two of South America, and probably one of the buildup around Saudi Arabia! :)

I presume you downloaded it? If so, could you answer the survey so I can keep track of the number of downloads? Thanks! :)

Other Updates:

Renamed various governments and tweaked thier stats

Changed Despotism to Fascism (to represent all dictatorships)
Changed Republic to Federal Republic
Changed Democracy to Parliamentary Democracy (It's spelled right in the scenario if I misspelled it here)

All Governments now have more free units... to represent how it's easier to support units due to various reasons (including technology, transportation, and others)

Note:All of Roman Africa is not Perfect cities.... in fact, much of it is developing as they were former German colonies acquired in WWII. So Rome's power comes from Europe, Northern Africa, and two cities in the south west of the bulge.

German colonies?

Germany never had colonies in north africa, the reason they were there in WW2 was because Mussolini wanted an empire in north africa so he sent his army there. Hitler sent rommel because mussolini's army was losing badly and he wished to save his ally from humiliation.

by the Way, i just cant get this to work, but im going to keep trying, It might be my computer. even with 135 GB's and 256 RAM, i still have problems on it. and even though this is a bit off-topic but is there a way to speed up the loading for civ3? since it has no activity (none of that humming noise that computers make when its loading something) and i have waited for an hour just to wait for a scenario to load many times and it acts as if it froze.

yeh Sar is right trouble is Germany also got hammered in North Africa after El Alamein

Remember this is ALTERNATE history... SO Bismark got a little land greedy! ;-)

It takes longer then an hour to load... as I said above, eat dinner or see a movie... ;-)

The other explanation I was thinking of was that Germany acquired Roman territory in Africa after the Roman-Prussian war (in which Prussia (as in the Franco-Prussian war) won). They probaably then renamed the cities. However, IIRC I used the above explanation in the Civilopedia...
