I've got tired of playing the civ 3 scenario that it came with...so i heard there were some good ones here. And i've looked through them and they look really cool but due to my own limited abilities with computers I don't know how to get the scenario. I try downloading them but they don't appear in the game. So could some one explian to me how i would go about downloading a scenario? And please spare no detail. Thanks :)

When you building a scenario is there a limit to how many cities you can start with (other then the 512 game crash) or a world pop limit? I have been trying to make a 23 Civ scenario of the world in 1867AD including the Canadians and the Confederate States. I had most of the world setup as colonies and cities (under 512) and the scenario would not run untill I deleted about 50 or 60 Cities. I had somewhere in around 200 - 250 cities to start. So is there some other limits I'm not aware of? or is my PC just too old to run a scenario of that size?

It depends on how large the map is. If its a big map, that's a lot of civs, and a lot of cities. I have a dual core processor and plenty of ram, and it sometimes takes me over a minute to load up a really big scenario with 512 cities pre-placed. If your computer is old, then it might just be taking forever to load, not necessarily crashing.

And yes, the limits are 31 civs (plus 1 barbarians) and 512 cities total.
