Schema Validation Evaluation

SO asked me to evaluate a schema validation evaluation report and I've managed to fix some things about it but there's a few topics of discussion some of them bring up where I wasn't 100% certain how they should be handled or if they should be handled at all.

This one is very odd as it appears to me all uses of iHappinessPercent in SpecialistInfos are pretty straightforward and I find it mysterious that only a few of them are identified as somehow problematic. Very strange. Perhaps someone who understands the validator may comment more.

Looks like there's a LOT of these text file schema references that point to no schema in the same folder - but they do so even in the main xml/text folder and seem to work fine there so I'm assuming all of these are simply issues the validator thinks is a problem but is in fact fine. This comprised the vast majority of the validator report I was given. I suppose I'd just like confirmation of this suspicion.

Again... huh? What's wrong with these? It SEEMS like it's correct when I look into the files.

I think that's it... there WERE a few little bug spots that were needing repaired in all this. Done.

The old Schema files(*Schema.xml) are no longer used by the xml loading you can leave them as they are.

But About 2 and 3 because these files use the new Validation.
The Validator can't find the xsd file because the relative Path in the xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation is wrong.

I remember thinking that this new way of doing the schema references was going to cause problems for new modules. Whereas before we could move the folders around anywhere and they would work now we have to change the file reference every time.

When I move something into core I just move the game texts into the main text file folder where as the rest of the XML gets merged into the core XML files.

This is true but then i finally finish the new validation we don't need all those schema files in the modules. There are ~1400 of them that is alot if you add new Tags you have to edit all of them. It is much simpler to only have one of them.
For the references i can make a small tool to autocorrect them.

You don't have to edit any of them until you need those new tags in that module. Until very recently there were some modules that had not had their schema files change for 15 versions or so.

It is one of the reasons why this mod was full of undetected xml errors. You ask why, because alot schema files where never updated.

Not only that but many modules are only temporary as they are being worked out, tested and then they get merged in to other modules or the core.

Can you life with a small exe to correct all the references for you?

Are you going to put that new XML validator in YOUR thread then? I find this very effective, since i am NOT a C++ or python person.
