Good afternoon, I was just wondering what the major factors in having a high score was, from what I can tell it comes mostly from how many cities/population and wonders you have, is there anything else, I am wondering if the time of the victory has a significant factor for example.

Percantage of the map controlled is the most important factor, followed closely by population. Then wonders & techs. Finally, time of victory & difficulty setting. One of the highest scores I've seen (not mine) was posted by someone who won on Deity on turn 27 or some such.

Overall, the scores are pretty meaningless. Before the June patch I used to rack up scores of over 10,000 from Total World Conquest victories. Can't do that any more due to the happiness issuess, so I settle for scores of 2,000 - 3,000 with science, diplo or culture wins.
