Does civ 3 scroll the way that civ 4 does, with a gliding motion, or does it scroll like civ 2 and Alpha Centari do, with a crisp jump (and no glide) to the new area?

You can use the continually gliding motion if you wish or you can click on a spot on the mini-map and jump straight there.

it has normal side scrolling as well as jumping using the mini map as most games do
