CURRENT VERSION: 1.3
Well, my #2 experience with the world builder in Civ 5. Now it finally has a minimap!
So I made this map:
- Huge map based on the world map of Secret of Mana (Seiken Densetsu 2), a console game of SquareEnix.
- Width: 128, Height: 80
- 8 civilizations, 13 city-states
- Made using Firaxis official world builder only
- Only one flavour: "defined" starting
- Civilizations starting points are unbalanced, so "The Empire" will have more bonuses than "Ice Country"

Civilizations:
If you avoid the "Load Scenario" in the set-up screen you can manage the advanced options an select the amount of civilizations plus other options BUT then the starting points are ignored and everything is messed up!
I divided the civilizations in teams, note that evil team is in constant war with good team.
-
Evil Team-
The Empire = French (Strongest of the team, huge territory)
Gold City Kingdom = Germans (Richest of the team, tiny territory)
-
Good Team-
Tasnica Kingdom = English (As strong as Pandora, naval-based)
Pandora Kingdom = Russians (As strong as Tasnica, land-based)
Kakkara Kingdom = Arabian (The feble one, but rich in modern resources)
-
Neutral Team-
Holy Land of Mandala = Indians (very isolated, mountainous country)
Matango Kingdom = Japanese (not isolated, swamp country)
Ice Country = Iroquois (quite isolated, cold country)
- Civilization background -
Pandora: Poor kingdom, very rural.
Tasnica: Medium rich kingdom, very naval.
Kakkara: Poor, merchant kingdom.
The Empire: Rich, very merchant kingdom.
Gold City: Very rich kingdom.
Mandala: Religious and poor kingdom.
Ice Country: Poor and undeveloped kingdom.
Matango: Medium rich but very undeveloped kingdom.
City-States:
The city states are the ONLY* places where one can find luxury resources, so you MUST invade them. Each resource only appear TWICE* in the map and in different cities
*Except for Gold City Kingdom, that has multiple resources of gold.
The 8 palaces/city-states are:
Water Palace
Underground Palace
Wind Palace
Fire Palace
Darkness Palace
Light Palace
Moon Palace
Tree Palace**
Plus there are 5 more extra city-states with even more resources:
Witch Elinee Castle
Moogle Village
Sea Hare's Island
The Mana Tree**
The Tropics
**City-states usually only have 2 luxury resources, but these ones have more than the others.
Installation:
1.- It is in a compressed folder, you'll need WinRAR, to get it visit: http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
2.- Put the uncompressed file (not the folder) in: \Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\Maps
3.- Then start the game, select "Mods" and set up the game.
4.- You'll see the map in the list of avaible maps.
Changelog:
- Removed the coral reef around the Sunken Continent (Tree Palace), it made useless (provided tons of happiness) the whole map objective: palaces conquest.
- Added units to each civ, now all the palaces/other places have 1 unit defending.
- Added money to each civ, to avoid the premade roads hell (this changed since last patch, in the past premade roads with no owner cost 0 gold).
- Replaced "Always in peace/war" relations to true team plus "Always in war" in Evil vs Good.
- Now the premade cities have buildings, population, etc...
- The civilizations have defined cultural borders that simplifies expansion.
- Each team has a color: White is Good, Neutral is yellow and Evil is red.
- City-States also have large cutural borders, to represent each "country" or "game area".
- Now the cities planned as capitals have palaces.
- More rivers in Tasnica.
- The Empire now have a decent capital (Northtown).
