See the total population

Is there a trick to watch the total world population in one of my games?

in terms of 'real' number's like in the millions/billions- or the game numbers -counting the number of heads?

Citywide = Cityscreen, hold mouse over cityname.

Thanks. I had this method where I multiplied the rival population average by the the total number of rivals and add my own, but it takes a lot of time.

It is OK, untill the total population hits hundreds of millions, then my calculator does not work anymore.

The calculator on your computer could handle it easy!

But having to Ctrl+Alt+Delete, then opening up the Calculator, having to remember or see every number if I forget...

So there is really no trick to it?

Windows XP! Use alt-tab for about 30 seconds.

More like 5 seconds for me... in fact, I don't think I would even need a calculator. My head's pretty smart!

Make it easy on yourself. Go into Custom Game and make sure you have 9 opponents. Then multiply the average population by 10.

You can always play in windowed. In fact, that's usually preferable, especially when the mods you have dramatically increase loading times and you need to pass the time somehow...

No, the Average population is only the rivals'.

Yes, I start a game with 11 civs, one of them being me, then I calculate the rival population fast but I still have to add mine.

Rule of thumb: 'If the census numbers are odd or difficult to calculate in ones head then simply kill some people.'
