SG anyone?

Hm, yeah. Give us a clue to what we are dealing with.

Well, until mirc comes back around, here is the current order:

1.trada(up)
2.Alex Johnson (On deck)
3.Conquer Dude
4.Irish Ceasar
5.Mirc (just played)

Hm, okay then. I'll download the sav.

I didn't post because of the timezones! In my country it was 02:47 AM when you posted that order.
I built a militia in my turnset!

Recommendations:
1. Each player plays his 10 turns and posts a BRIEF summary of changes he made and events that happened. It is entirely possible you could say "nothing happened and I didn't change anything"...early in the game. That's probably not true in the ADs.
2. Each player should complete his 10 turns and post his new save in the following day. So if we started on Saturday with mirc, then Trada plays on Sunday and posts on Monday, and Alex gets the game Monday and posts Tuesday. Due to timezone differences we should allow up to 48 hours before complaining about no post.

Concern: A game is 480 turns long, I think. Even at one rotation a day, that game will take a month and a half. If we increase each player's allotment to 20 turns, it means the game will last about 3 weeks. I recommend 20 turns per player until the late years. 20 turns in 4000BC means little while 20 turns in 1750AD means a lot.

Long = good.

But one thing is preventing me from posting my sav.. the fact that I haven't played the game yet! Mirc! You forgot to include the map file.

 Sorry, I'm not familiar with the save system from Civ1, in the others you have just 1 file. I can't post it now, since i'm not at home, but when I return I will.

You have to post a map save?
I've never done any of this before either. I might learn something here! :D

In CivDOS, the only way to trade a game around is to give 2 files: civil#.sve and civil#.map, which together make up the save game.

Sorry, how many turns should I play?

1.Mirc (Just Played)
2.Trada (up)
3.Alex Johnson (On deck)
4.Conquer Dude (Bench Warming :D)
5.Irish Ceasar

Trada? Where's my save? It should only take 45 minutes to download, play 20 turns, and upload. Surely everyone can find 45 minutes, twice a week.
