When you shift click, does it appear that your turn has ended? Eg. do you end your turn, and then have your units move after every single player's units have moved (except for the shift-clicked ones)?

I saw this recently. I looked like someone's turn was ended, so I ended mine. Then they double-moved me.

If this is the case, I bet it fools most people into thinking that the turn is truly over.

Yes, after you move all your units you utilize shift click, it looks like your turn is over, and then at the end all of your units move UNLESS the other player makes move which interfere in the places the shift-clicked units were going to go. So if you are playing a shift-clicker, just as the turn timer runs out make a few moves and the shift-clicker's units either won't move or will end up on really bad spots.

The problem with this in FFA is that the turn timer gets run out so much that people not at war will quit unless there is some kind of constraint on them (like NQ or league game.)

Ok I got it from researching an older thread.

It answers an old question why I couldn't respond to attacking units on their "first" move sometimes in the past as well
