I still haven't heard what is bad about political parties in this game setting. With all the fuss I'm tempted to start one just see what happens.:D

At least it would be fun. Can't seem to easily find out news about what is happening. Maybe political parties would be good since they might bring the issues to the forefront in an accessible manner for us poor citizen's to see...
 
The Demo game has stayed the same for such a long time, and even though I voted for pol. parties, I think if the vote is so close ( 18:16 ), even if in favor of them, I don't think we should have an amendment to change the Phoenatican Constitution.

I say go for the cabinet vote. The populous is split very evenly and so is the cabinet. THIS is what politics is all about!
 
I'm still waiting for some one to explain the difference between citizen's groups and political parties.:(

The critical difference (as I understand it) is that political parties nominate a slate of candidates and campaign for them. Citizen groups may not campaign or nominate as a group.
