Should we delay the election votes to the 30th?

The vote is supposed to start tomorrow (the 29th) but that's also the soonest that the debate threads can be set up. Should we start the vote on the 30th instead? That would give the candidates a day to respond to the questions.

I feel it's important to see the responses to the debate questions. I've had contact with a lot of the candidates but certainly not all of them. I'd like to be an informed voter.

Shaitan,

As always I value your tremendous contributions to this game. Your work on the constitution alone is admirable.

However, I must vote NO. The constitution clearly states that elections begin on the 29th.

I am growing disturbed by our cabinet's willingness to ignore the constitution as written. Your change is a valuable one in my opinion, but I fear we are setting examples now that we will regret later, and all such changes that directly violate the constitution should be handled appropriately.

I am a member of that cabinet (at least for a couple more days), and I believe it is absolutely critical that we always follow the constitution, and if we do not like it, have it changed via normal channels. This is not any one of our's game, nor is it just the cabinet's.

Again, I think you have a great idea, but I feel I must vote NO to uphold the constitution.

I have been busy rebuilding my computer and right now the only things up and running are Civ, Internet and E-mail (good priorities, right? :)). So, I put up the Debate Thread.

I thought of putting up separate threads for each position, but it didn't seem feasable to keep all the threads sticky without smothering out the rest of the game.

Polls will open tomorrow for elections.
