Over at Firaxis's webpage it looks like SMAC is getting significant percentages in their pole - 'Which game would you most like to see a sequel to?'


I want SMAC 2!

I want a SMAC with a smart AI. I want to hear a creepy voice telling me about Shiva the destroyer of worlds when I research a planet buster again. I want to have nightmares about the Self Aware Colony! I want graphics for xenofungus that don't look like mud.

Let's hear it for SMAC two!

Eh, no doubt Firaxis wants to do a sequal. I don't think it's a question of motivation, it's a question of capability--Can they get the rights from EA?
