What is the point of Small Wonders having traits like "commercial". Could they trigger GA like regular wonders?

Small Wonders do not trigger GA. Are they flagged as commercial etc? Never heard of that...

:dunno:

Yes, in the editor it says for exp that the Forbiden Palace is a religious improvement.

That might have to do with the "mobilization" feature. When you are in mobilization you can just build buildings that a flagged militaristic.

As far as I remember, civs with that bonus get a discount when building that improvement.

But that's bloody unfair! If it's true that there's a discount on FP for commercial civs. I really doubt it.

Just had a look in "The rules explained": Basically it is as I said. These traits give a production bonus. The question of the this thread was for traits like "commercial".

But "commercial" itself isn´t expressivly listed in giving this bonus. One has to test it.
In "The rules explained" for the trait "commercial" the following was posted: If checked, "Pays for Trade Installations" it removes the maintenance cost of the building: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showpost.php?p=5161450&postcount=4

In the epic game, Commercial doensn't give you any cheap buildings. I don't understand the "pays for trade instillations" part. Smith's Trading Company pays for all trade installiations. Smith's goes with the Commercial trait. No one gets any discount on any small or great wonders. The editor might have an error somewhere. I know in a recent 20k Sid attempt, which turned diplomatic, where I played as Korea. I built the Forbidden Palace and the Great Library (scientific trait satisfied here), but I did NOT get a golden age when I had both of these in. I did, however, get a golden age when I finished Smith's. My guess is either Calis had it right, or the editor simply has an error.

The mobilization thing could be right. Civinator is saying that if I building has that checked if a commercial small wonder has a maintenence fee that fee will be bipassed. I can't understand the other ones though.

I know. They might have been thinking around the lines of small moderations.
