So... How do you make a mod?

I mean, I'm experienced with XML and I can wade through civ4's Python, but I can't find any reference material anywhere on the correct and safe way to start a package-able mod


And btw, has anybody managed to track down where the python script displays combat odds? I've found generic unit strength info and the XML that wraps the combat odds display, but I can't seem to find the combat odds code itself. :crazyeye:

I noticed that link after posting this in haste, but thanks for the help. It's much simpler than I thought it'd be.
