Alright, no need to beat around the bush here. I'm new at the Scenario-building business, and, like everyone else, I've run into a few problems that I'm hoping anyone reading this can help me out with. First and formost, my biggest concern revovles around the Rules Editor. This is not a technical concern, but more of a physical one. You see, in somo of the larger Tabs (Units for example) the information extends below the bottom edge of my screen, and, due to a lack of a scroll bar, I am unable to access it. The Rules Editor does not allow me to re-size it, maximise it, or minimise it. All I can do is drag it as high as it can go, but even then I'm still losing out on about 1/5 of the info at the bottom of the Tab. This is a big concern, because there is stuff down there that is important for me to access, but I cannot. Anyone who can provide assistance to my dilema, please respnd, I will be eternally gratefull.

Moving right along, another concern of mine is about re-naming and re-applying attributes to Units. Whenever I do, when its time to test the scenario, and I try to create the renamed unit, the game crashes. I do know there's a solution for this one out there somewhere, and I bet its fairly simple, but anyone who could shed light on it for me please respnd. Thanks.

its real easy to fix you screen so you can see everything. You have to right click on your desktop then select the option Active Desktop then once you do that another option will pop up that says Customize your desktop select that. It will take you to a type of control panel. the Last option at the top says Setting click on that. In the right hand corner your going to see your monitor settings. Right now mine says 800 x 600 pixels. move that to the right 1 or 2 spaces and it will make everything on your screen a lot smaller but you will be able to see everything. Once you have changed the setting the monitor will go black for 5 seconds then once its finished click apply at the bottom of the screen then ok. When you are finished with your Civ 3 Edit Scenario go back into your monitor and change it back to your original settings. Just use it to edit your rules.

When you rename a unit, you must also rename the folder and .ini file in the folder so that the name is the same as the one in the scenario.

Hey, thanks both of you (JMikulin_84, Lord Thorium) for the advise. Both of it worked perfectly. I can now sleep at night!
