will really appreciate ur help ...

If you haven't done this already, I would advise you to just reinstall the game.

I already tried to reinstall the game but did not work ...

I've got the same sound files in the "ancient music" folder as you have listed.
There is no sound file named AncMEFULL.mp3 in any of my sound folders. Sorry.

Documents and Settings\ shouldn't be the install directory. Program Files\Infogrames\CivilizationIII\ should be.

You'll need to reisntall CIV3, CPW ( if you have it) and C3C. Be sure to erase the Directory in which de game is. It may be a corrupt file so the windows program may skip the file in question. Move your save file to My document if you want.

Yeah, that's the default, but it can be any directory the user specifies.... Before resintalling the game last, mine was C:\Program Files\Games\Civilization III\... instead of the default. Got tired of changing it when installing DyP updates....
