So I just started to play Space Empires IV again and I would like to know if anyone has any tips for this game. What tips and tricks can you give me and how can I improve my gameplay? So far I am pretty noob at this game.What are some things that I can learn from this series?

Use mines in the earlybgame. The AI never prepares for them and the small hull sizes don't allow for efficient minesweeping. The AI always screws it up and can take dozens of turns to address a minefield properly in which time you can prepare other ways to address the issue. Ther is a max of 100 mines pere tile nut you can mine both sides of a warp point...
