Spanish Help

Hi, as you can probably see, I registered a while ago but I forgot about this site. I know that there are many people here that live in other countries. If you speak Spanish, would you please help me out? I realize the sentences are very simple but it is only my second year. I wrote a two paragraph assignment about my school vacation. Please let me know if there are any errors.

En la semana pasada, hice muchas cosas. Comí mucha comida. Bebí mucha limonada. Compré un regalo para mi hermano. Dormí por doce horas cada día. Leí tres libros. Estudié para mis exámenes. Yo le dí a mi mamá mi computadora vieja. Fui al cine con mis amigos. Escuché los discos compactos. Escribí dos cartas. Miré la televisión. Encontré mi libro favorito. Trabajé en la oficina de mi padre. Conduje mi coche.

Todos de esas cosas fueron muy interesante. Pero, la cosa más interesante fueron luchar en el partido del estado. Gané muchos partidos. Perdí otros partidos. Yo me divertí. Mis entrenadores fueron felices. Mis padres fueron felices. Mis vacaciones fueron buenas. Quiero el luego uno venir pronto.

What do you mean by ''luchar en el partido del estado''???

and ''quiero el luego uno venir pronto''?

Thank you for the quick response. When I say Luchar en el partido del estado, I mean to say that the most interesting thing was wrestling in the state meet. When I say quiero el luego uno venir pronto, I mean I want the next one to come soon.

EDIT: correction you said vacaciones so it's : quiero que las proximas sean pronto.

vi la television, "mire" sounds weird
actually, in spanish you dont have to say "yo le di" by saying "la di" we already know is "yo"

and also, didnt understand "el partido del estado"

Actually, the correct (and most used) verb with television is "mirar." Ver is to see, mirar is to watch.

IIRC, for wrestling, the correct way to say it is "luchar libre."

nope. you are referring to the sport.. Wrestling: Lucha Libre.
There is no actual verb to describe the sport so you say ''luchar''

Althought the translation is that, we use 'ver' when watching TV. 'Mirar la TV' would be more like 'observing the TV'.

As for the text, some corrections in additon to the ones mentioned:

'La semana pasada ...' instead of 'en la semana pasada'

'Dormí doce horas' instead of 'dormí por doce horas'

So Mirar la TV means watching the telly. And Mirada means to gaze or look. So Mirar la Asesina would be "watching the assassin"? And Mirada la Asesina would be "gaze (or look) of the assassin. Correct yes?

Mirada was the first spanish word I memorized along with everyday words like cuchara, taza, mayor, excusado, mesa, mujer and pecho. Also these words and sentences I'm looking for a correct meaning

It is 'Mirada asesina' not 'mirada la asesina'. For the rest you are right.

Warmonger in spanish is 'belicista'.

Instigator is instigador.

Homeless is vagabundo and misfit would be inadaptado
