Most likely this is an easy question for you.
I would like to install the Civ IV game on a new pc, but I do not like to use the DVD. Is it possible to install it in such a way that I do not need to take the DVD with me?
I don't think downloading and using a version of vanilla or warlords which had the protection removed is illegal. Might depend on the country though. Can't link to such files here as they are also connected to piracy and as such its not permitted by forum rules.
-- Edit: if you don't mind paying again one way would be to get the steam version of the game
The US version of Complete had all the DRM removed. If you can get that one you will be OK, but then any version of BTS is DRM free with 3.19 and once you have that you're unlikely to play vanilla or warlords.
