Steam Version Civ5 and Mods

This weekend Civ5 on steam is 75% off. I want to get it, but I want to know if the mods for civ5 will work on the steam version as well as the cd version?

Yes. The Steam version is the CD version (which is why you have to use steam to play a version installed off a CD). It's just a different mode of purchase.

As above. I've used the Disc once, and that was to install. Steam vs Disc is simply a choice of how the media gets to your PC. Once there, it's Steam all the way, whether you like it or not.

Yes, Civ 5 has a build in mod browser which allows for easy installation of mods

Just bought civ5, and I am excited. I grew up with Civ games, and blizzard games.
