Just a handful of questions regarding SDI:

1.) has anyone seen it work yet? what does it look like when a missile gets intercepted? what does it look like when a missile gets through?

2.) does the Strategic Missile Defense intercept ICBMs only or does it also work against tactical nukes?

3.) does the SDI protect every tile within the borders of a civ with the small wonder or just the city radius or just the city squares?

4.) what happens if the civ who has built the SDI loses a city with a SAM site leaving with less than 5 SAM sites with which he was able to build the SDI in the first place? does the civ lose the SDI?

5.) have we verified that the success rate of the SDI is 75%?

SDI defense is the last tech researched in the modern era, and you need a certain number of SAM sites (5?) to build it. I've not yet had a game where an enemy launched nukes at me, so I haven't seen SDI work either.

It works for both the player and the AI (not every time, but most -- as it's supposed to. Out of about a dozen nuke attacks on enemies, they shot down about half, and I shot down 2 out of 3. Seems to be within what you might get from 75%). The nuke gets blown up by a quick streak of light. I can't remember if there's a popup to go with it. I only saw ICBM attacks. Only cities were attacked. I would bet that the answer to #4 is no.
