Anyway, I just started playing and I was hoping that someone coul tell me how to band my troops together.

About banding troops together - you can only do that if you have an army. The army functions almost like a transport. You load units into the army and then they will move and fight like one unit.

Before you load units you must have the army unit. The problem is, you cannot build your first army unit You have to get it from a great leader.

I think you mean armies. Well, you need a Great Leader. everytime an elite unit winns a combat there is a chance that you get one. move him into a city and select "Buold Army". then select the units you want to have in the army and select "load". you won'T be able to unload them afterwards! after your first army wins a fight you'll be able to build armies with the military academy(later in the game).

U know guys, I had CIV I and II and I was basically a veteran in those, but either I am on a crack or I am missing something, but I dunno how to airlift the units from city to city! I have airports, technology but I can't airlift them. How do you do it??
