Not trying to gloat, but it appears the game is running fine(a little slow but I only have 512mb of ram as well) on my laptop with Intel 852/855 chipset(latest drivers installed).
The unpatched Civ4 gave the usual Cheshire cat leader business as well as broken fog of war. Patched to the latest patch and she runs like a dream(a slightly jerky dream, but fast enough for my touchpad skills)
It's an HP DV1000 laptop with 512mb of Ram on Windows XP
The processor is a 1.7gig Pentium M
Just figured I'd throw that out there in case anyone was looking(i know I did before I bought it.)
