Always play various mods under BTS with 3.19 patch. About a week or so ago, I started experiencing extremely slow graphics. It's like the screen walks to a selected location in step by step tiles under scrolling. Not sure if it is/was related to a windows or driver update or not.
In my efforts to correct the issue I screwed up my system big time by uninstalling various drivers. That was a nightmare but finally got my system back. Ran the manufacturer's diagnostic program and the report comes back normal. I reinstalled DirectX 9 to no avail. Other games requiring DirectX 9 running correctly so don't think that or my on board graphics (no card) is the issue.
As a test ran BTS vanilla and I have the SAME ISSUE as with the mods (RI, Better AI, a new dawn).
Aside from trying to reinstall program (I have the discs), not sure what to do.
Question, has anybody here on the board heard of any such problems. And, if I do reinstall do I have to go back to ground zero with Civ 4 vanilla?
BTW I have a rather unimpressive system but for about a year it has served me with no playing problems.
