Current build queues as of 1620 AD:

Ameri

Atlanta: couthouse (will be complete in 33 turns)
Civanatoria: tank (1)
Need a name: tank (96)
New York: tank (4)
Paville: courhouse (68)
Philadelphia: tank (2)
San Francisco: harbor (1)
Seattle: cathedral (3), police station

New Cormyr

Byzantium: tank (9)
Justinian: artillery (1), bank
Lugdunum: tank (15)
Phoenix's Den: market (25), granary, cavalry
Plexia: infantry (8)
Seantoria: courthouse (4), hospital

Please post suggested changes below. Also, feel free to suggest changes in tile usage in these cities. :)

Donsig, the Domestic Department already has build queues made up for these two Provinces. Why don't we wait and see what the President has to say on the matter. If you check her thread, you'll see I've already addressed this issue there.

Here are my suggestions (changes are in bold):

New Cormyr

Byzantium: aqueduct (9), market (9), cathedral (14)
Justinian: artillery (1), bank (10)
Lugdunum: granary (9), aqueduct (17), temple(10)
Phoenix's Den: aqueduct (25), market (34), granary(20)
Plexia: market (9), cathedral (18)
Seantoria: courthouse (4), hospital (12)

Worker requests: The jungle near Plexia should be cleared. this province is under developed and needs general attention.

I will check the thread but I am shocked that our domestic leader does not want citizen input on these build queues. I am curious to know how we are to hear the will of the people without this kind of discussion?

EDIT: I looked at the presidential thread and there is nothing new there. In my view the proposed change to the Code of Standards is unconstitutional. Now, whether it is or isn't, whether these governors show up or don't, whether the domestic department is granted authority to post build queues for these provinces or not, in any event the build queues should be based on citizen input, nicht war?

Now, see Donsig...if you weren't so darned pissed off, you might have checked the Offerings for this Province and found offerings for 4 cities.

Well, I guess if we stoppped spending our time making rules and actually looked at the Civ 3 game we're trying to play I might not be so pissed off. Looking at your offerings wouldn't help because I do not agree that we should be offering 2500 gold to rush all these improvements nationwide. It is much more important to keep the science rate up!

So tell me Donsig, how much citizen input did you hear before you made up your build queue for Istar? Did you make it according to the will of the people?

Here are my suggestions for Ameri (changes are in bold):

Philadelphia: tank (2), tank (3), tank (3), tank (3)
San Francisco: [b{cathedral (7), factory (18)[/B]

The Istar build queues that I suggested were posted a few days ago. The General prompted a change in the build queues as the domestic leader knows. Since there have been no other comments I have taken that as citizen approval and posted the queues in the turn chat instruction thread. It could well be that there were no comments from citizens because they don't care. If this is so and our citizens want officials to make all the decisions then the people should not cry out when *the will of the people* isn't followed!

OK, Donsig. I think we scared everyone away again. Its just you, me and Shaitan, now...we've got the whole place to ourselves...

Good, it'll be easier to count the votes then. ;)

Here are my observations and suggestions for the Ameri queues. If nobody complains, I will post the modified queues in the turn chat instructions just prior to the chat.

  • The Military Department asked for a roughly equal number of tank and infantry, the queues would be adjusted to reflect that
  • Civanatoria can be micromanaged to yield 5 more food units without shield loss. That's 5 more units every 3 turns, equaling 1.6666666666666667E+0000 more food units per turn on average
  • We should weigh out building factories vs. police stations in corrupted cities. I think that building police stations instead of factories would be more effective because they are faster to build and increase not only production, but commerce as well

I think donsiqs ideas are resonable in general, we can't expect our newer provinces to put out that much millitary production. There may be too much focus on tanks in Ameri. I think this is irrelevant now, as the turnchat is past, but I though you might want some citizne input, otherwise donsiq is going to hurt someone!!

For New Cormyr I would like to stick with most what they are already buiding the changes i would like are:

Byzantium: Aqueduct (9), tank.
Lugdunum: Temple (10).

Thanks donsig for your input:goodjob:

If you are still Governor of New Cormyr, rg3333, please come up with build queues that are 3 or 4 improvements/units deep. Also read the Domestic Department thread and check the thread for Budget Requests and Offerings. If there are Offerings for the cities in your Province, you can take advantage of the free rushing by the Domestic Dept.

Here are better build queues, well better than the last.

Byzantium:Market (6) Rush, Mech (7), Tank (6)
Justinian: Mech (4), Tank(6), Bank (10)
Lugdunum: Market (16), Temple, Mech (18)
Phoenix's Den: Aqueduct (20), market (20), Mech (23)
Plexia: Mech (7), Market (6), Mech (16), Courthouse (12)
Seantoria:Tank (3), Mech (8), Bank (11)

rg3333, you should post your newest queues in the turn instructions threads. Before every turn chat the president starts the turn instructions thread. In this thread you are to post your build queues, anytime before the chat.

Here is a link to the previous turn chat thread for you to look at, the new one (1675 AD) hasn't been posted yet: Turn Chat - 1645 AD - Saturday, July 20th

EDIT - Double post. Move along, nothing to see here.
