Suggested New Civ Traits

Expansionist is broken. Right now, it is good for early exploration and an early tech lead (free scout popping the goody boxes), and then it becomes useless. This doesn't really fit in with the image of the civs that have been assigned that trait. For expansionist...

- Drop the goody hut bonus. They should have the same odds as any other civ.
- All cavalry units that aren't weighed down by heavy armour are given 3 move. In vanilla civ3, this would apply to all horse units except the knight.

That should make it much more viable in the long term game.

Most civilizations start out as barbarians, and with some we are so fortunate as to have recorded history where they are seemingly "uncivilized". But the Mongols conquered a large part of the world and had an empire, of course they are a reasonable Civilization.

But by that point, you can hardly call them Nomadic. Nomadic is a trait of a pre-civilized people. Not to say that the Mongols weren't Nomadic, or that the Mongols were never a civilization, but they were first nomads, then civilized.

Merging the horse or movement benefit might help. But I actually think Expansionist, in spite of its focus on the early game, is actually one of the best traits. Maybe I'm a minority? But getting those killer goodie huts with technologies and gold, a huge map, and contact with everyone is one of the strategies I rely on at the deity level. But I don't think a few horses would be particularly unbalancing, either.
