[Vanilla] Suggested tweak for randomized tech tree

I like the variation of the tech tree. I don't like not being able to plan. It would be great if we could have a randomized tech tree, but one that you can still see from the beginning. It wouldn't have the surprise factor, which I presume some people like, but it would have the variety, which is what I like about randomized tech tree.

You can use this mod by @pokiehl which reveals all techs and civics in the tech and civic shuffle mode:

While I also agree with your points, I would personally like a mod that is halfway between the two options: one that only reveals the location of techs and civics of the current world era, but apparently that is not currently moddable.
