Now, Civ 5 is a good game, but is the gameplay really? Singleplayer is quite fun, but still lacks some things. Multiplayer is an absolute horror.

A few ways I thought might help Civ 5(Not trolling):
-A re-generate map button. Civ 4 seemed awesome with this, if you didn't like your starting position. It seems stupid to keep exiting, going back into the Start New Game, redo all your options and start over. If not, atleast allow the game to save what game options you chose instead of re-doing it over and over.

-Submarines shoot through land? I seemed to get this bug or either its something not addressed yet. I had a battleship on the other side of a submarine from land and the torpedo went through the land, say what :crazyeye: ?

-An Animation [ON] [OFF] Option in the Options menu, both for Singleplayer and Multiplayer. Especially for Multiplayer... I don't want to be left in confusion from a pop-up attack where a enemy killed my unit or bombarded it. Atleast show animation, or even quick animation?

-Bring back trade maps, technologies! Research Agreements are useless, I find them a waste of money to even trade.

That's practically what I think would make Civ 5 atleast better.

Personally, I almost never used it in previous civs, but it seems an easy implementation.
I agree.

I don't think this is intended!! :)
Try to post it in the bugs section.

Yes!! Yes!! It's absolutely annoying!!

Mmmm... game is drastically changed from Civ4, I find that it can go on without these features. IMHO R.A. are good, they are funny to use (and EXTREMELY useful as well, if you produce a lot of gold and small tech).
Map trading... in Civ5 you are FORCED to explore on your own, and i like it.
In Civ4 world exploration was not needed, since you could trade enemy world maps and reveal it all.

I should send a support message to the game developers to bring up that Submarine problem.

But I actually rethink the idea of Map Trading, and I agree with you. I feel more occupied, and excited to discover new lands. But maybe bring a bigger purpose to Research Agreements instead of Tech Trade?

A patch/update that would add some unique skins to nations, sort of like what BtS did for Civ 4, just maybe a bit more noticable (sort of uncanny to see everyone use the same Musketmen except for jacket color, or the same Helicopter.)

I think that'd be cool too. I had the almost-same idea that when you start getting into later Era's (Ind. Mod. Fut.) your units that you build (say a tank), according to your civilization in real life, what type of tank they built. Such as for Russia, they'd get the T-34, or the Germans obviously get the Panzer. Or different classes of Naval Ships for the Modern-Future era such as for the Carrier for the America civ, Nimitz Carrier.
Something like that, and all units have their different advantages. I'd think that'd be quite cool and creative, but it'd be a big step to take for gameplay.
