Sunday night game!!!

Souix: Flatlander Fox

Romans: The King/ ntnguy/ Now Sadly an AI

English: ntnguy/Beerman

Vikings: jim

Japanese: Dogberry

Comments: The Souix have built Mike's Chapel, the Japanese have built the Pyramids (by accident) and the Colossus. The Vikings built the Embassy, and the English built the Library...

Should be very interesting as more exploration brings the 5 civs together. Right now there is not alot of interaction going on... And no war.

I'll keep you posted

THE NEXT SESSION: The game is progressing quite well, and the lead that the Souix thought they had earlier quickly evaporated. I have been somewhat of a wonder hog (Adam Smiths, Copernicus, Isaacs College, Leo's), but the Japanese have managed to build Magellens and the Gardens.

The Vikings built the Statue of Liberty, and are doing well.

The English are slowly digging themselves out of a pretty deep hole, but are getting back into the swing of things!!!

We are well past 1000 AD and we are beginning to colonize the rest of the world!!! With colonization comes conflict though, but so far there has been NO WAR!!!

I hope to continue this game next Sunday at 1600 GMT+1 (Maybe even Saturday, if the players states so!

There is room for a Roman player, but it wouldn't be pretty for you if you take them

.
Hopefully the other players will give their accounts of this game!!! We should be able to play this one all of the way through!

I'm so tired of being tired... Sure as night will follow day... Most things I worry about, never happen anyway...

This is the first time that I have ever tried a sustained WLTP strategy for population growth.. cause of my accidental buy of the Pyramids ( vs . HG ).. it did not come off as smoothly as I would have liked. It's almost too bad that it is so peaceful.. but war doesn't seem to be in anybodys' interest right now.

If the AI takes yet another turn from me, because of a dropped connection.. I am simply going to flip!

All the players that are in the game, cept the Romans are verging on the Industrial Age.

Dog

P.S. I think that the unusual eveness of the distribution of the early Civs & the fact that there were only 5 at the start.. is why the game is so peaceful.

I certainly don't have a problem with this..Cunobelin. The Romans are in quite a hole compared to everybody else. It's funny .. but the very first Caesar was complaining of how slow the game was going & wanted to set the timer at 30 seconds.

Rather thought you were a SP person tho. Go ahead & add me or Fox & if you are around, we will get you in.

I could rplace someone that leaves...

Hippo or Az,

If either one of you want in, we are playing at 1600 GMT +1 Sunday. Whoever I locate first, I will give them the IP.

I am very much looking forward to the Industrial Age this week, and hopefully getting in a good 5 hour session again!!!

Another (Half) session completed!!!

A.D.1290

The Players:

Souix (Flatlander Fox): I fell behind the Japanese a bit in technology, but caught back up with the constuction of Darwins voyage. The age of industrialization is upon us as three nations now can begin Industrializing...

Japanese (Dogberry): The Japanese are neck and neck with the Souix in the Powergraph. Exploration by the Japanese has sparked talks of international borders.... Which island will go to who???

Vikings (Jim): Merrily crushing the Romans and slowly catching up in tech...

English (Beerman): Great Library keeps the English in this one, but lack of production keeps them from acting on it.

Web problems kept us from playing a full session but we still got about 2 1/2 hours in...

Next Sunday 1600 GMT +1 we will be playing again!!!
