What I really want is the new art for spellcasters and golems (well, I fell in love with the Luchuirp... ;)). But the golems aren't that important, since you can distinguish them, except for the clockwork golem! I would be really interested in how it might look in the end...

yes, first would be clockwork and wood golem, then maybe mud golem. on the long term, the higher tier golems need a more unique look too.

i voted for magicians because i usually play really heavy with magic. i dont like how all the elf magicians look the same in their seafoam green tunics and adepts could be a little cooler too. i really think the amurite wizard looks much more like what the rest of the magician units be based on because it is awesome.

How can anyone really vote for anything other then warrior, there the most abundent unit's with the longest lifespan and are at the start of the game, and loincloth and club wielding hairy men don't really look like a fitting army for someone like the bannor.

Plus, the golems look kinda weird with all having deformed arms, you would think they could make a more normal looking golem.

(Maybe be able to have a couple diffient models for flesh golems)

I thought the Bannor had Enforcers?

I understand your point, though.

I haven't voted, mainly because I love everything seZereth adds to this game, so it doesn't really matter what he tackles next. (gee, you'd think I was sucking up for something)

wow... thanks.
it`s good to hear my work is appreciated.
I`ll unleash Buboes when I am back from work :)

The Enforcer graphic was moved, because it looked too advanced. but I might start their warrior even today if I find time.

I voted for Sphener, since he is one of those kick-ass super heroes and deserves some respect!
Hey, he is even stronger than Hyborem and Basium, but looks like a tiny little angel :pat:

I voted for warriors & scouts. If just one could be done, I'd pick warriors.

If these two were already done, I'd pick adepts. And then after that, priest unit attack animations. The priest units are pretty cool but with the missing animation they're a letdown in combat.

I'm also a fan of the female units idea, especially since one leader (Os-Gabella?) is a ********.

Among the choices, I go for Warriors. However, I would also like to see an ongoing effort to replace the art that was obvious cut-and-pasted from some other work with original art for FFH. And I would like to see better matches between the way the units look on the map and their icons.

IIRC, the plan is to have them look exactly the same, the icons being pics of the models.

Goblins - they look out of place with a spear and shield at such a primative tech level. I'd love to see a two tiered goblin. The first one a group of savage, primative goblins and the more advanced ones (with the current art) maybe available only through the CoEs, or maybe buildable by any civ that can get the Barb trait.

Yes, I would love to see some cool new golem art. Especially the clockwork golem. There is a game that came out recently, Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends. There was a fantasy race called the Vinci (based on the creations of Leonardo Da Vinci) and it included some great units like a gyro copter, but there was also a unit that I think of everytime I think of a clockwork golem. A metal creature with all sorts of gears and wheels for a body. Something like that would be very cool.

Warriors, after some deliberation over the choices, but thinking about it now...

The big flag flying off the back of the tall ship is hanging -INTO- the wind. The wind has to be coming from (at least somewhat) Behind the ship, else it won't go. This also applies to pennants waving from atop the mast. They need to have their wavey ends to the bow, not the stern. I hope this can be fixed with comparatively simple changes to the big ship models, 'cause I don't want to have been the source of trouble. Maybe I'm the only one that is bugged by this, but I move a lot of units by ship and it does bug me.

Goblins often have honkin' big noses, so no worries there, and I'm all in favor of many units shipping in both genders.

Something that I (and again, perhaps I alone) would find cool is if gender was determined at the birth of each new unit. Some (all the heroes, obviously) would have no choice of course, but many units for some civs could be recruiting on a gender neutral basis. This begins to sound like work, though. Maybe I'll compile a chart when things have firmed up a bit more. :)

Thanks for whatever work you choose to do, however. All the stuff made for the mod is spiff! :)

First, hats off to the guys, especially you seZereth, for designing some outstanding units! I was absolutely blown away the first time a Minotaur and a Basilisk came through my planar gates. :)

If I had to nitpick, and that is all it is, I would like to see a few of the heroes' art improved.

For example, I had read there was new art for Kithra Kyriel, but it looks like the same art that was around since the beginning.

I never liked the Dwarf hero art (Arthendain, especially), because the units are just too small and easy to lose on the screen.

I think the hero units, as the most powerful in the game, should really stand out on the field of battle. Some do, some don't. But, again, on the whole a truly fantastic art effort!!!

PS. One more I forgot: I think the art for Yvain the Woodelf is the same as the Druids - hard to distinguish at first glance. Thanks.

i was thinking about Heros too, and Kithra got a new look, he looks a bit like on hs Hero pic, maybe he is too small on the screen, but go into the pedia and see if he has a cape, then its the new model (the old one was a Horsearcher).
So, the point about Heros is... well, they are outstanding, but they are not the units you see most, I think most important are the units which appear most on the screen.
But, well, you know, it is just a matter of time until we have nice Heros :)
