I don't know if you've heard of the 4th Prophecy, or the 4th Coming (don't know really). It's a free massively online RPG, like Ultima Online (UO). It's written by Canadians (if I'm not wrong). So there's also a French version of "La 4eme Prophetie". Let's give it a chance. http://t4c.thevine.net
I've also tried to run Freeciv on Linux and Windows and LinuxPPC. It rocks! Almost better than the Sid Meier version and it's... free!
