Tech tree tool

Hi, I've been messing about with Civ 1 after coming from Civ 4 (I bought Chronicles) and am having trouble keeping track of my tech advances without the tree available in civ 4. I have the paper tech chart but I don't find it very useful and I also don't have the ability to mark down the techs I have like I can in Civ 4. I'm just wondering if anyone has developed a tool that enables the same functionality either as a plugin to civ 1 (and 2, too) or as a standalone program that I can ALT+TAB to while playing to help me choose what to do. If possible even with descriptions and things, but not essential.

Anyone with any ideas?
