Term 1: Foreign Minister Election

I imagine it'd be best if I post my position here, no?
I'll admit, it's a little intimidating running for a position. I've been in a Demogame like this before, the Multisite Demogame for CivIII, and I know that negotiations between nations can get heated. From that, I also learned that it's always important to keep your cool: the foreign minister is the most visible member of the team, and it's important that that person seem reasonable, easy to work with, open, and trustworthy. If you vote for me, I'll do my best to be all those things for Innovia, and I'll represent us well on the international scene.

See! I'm well versed in dealing with foreign cultures. I even speak spanish! (We'll just have to hope one of the other teams is Spain now wont we) I can make a lot sound like a little and a little sound like a lot. I can talk it up or tone it down. I'm a natural barterer. Of course, it wont be 1,2,3 easy either. The other teams will most likely have equally canny bargainers. We'll just have to put out our best foot first aye? And fortunately for you, I am NOT a deformed foot. How convenient. Wouldn't want to put that out first now would ya? Didn't think so. Bargaining is what I do, I am often called a jew. But I'm actually Buddhist. (P.S. I live in Philadelphia and have about 4000 jewish friends, I make fun of everyone, its all out of love). So anyway. Buy low, sell high, grab the best dividends, and prepare to have our stock split 3 for 1! Because economics is my specialty! Of course, we'll need someone a little more savvy on the military for defense. I'd probobly send my troops into an erupting volcano. But thats not what your electing me for! Lucky you. You seem to be very lucky today, don't you think?

Y'know, since we're a small team, and since both of us seem eager to take the job, how about Nomad Bryce and I just split the duties for Foreign Minister? It isn't absolutely necessary for us to only have one person running the department, and it'd be handy for us to share duties I think. Is there any reason we couldn't do this?
I can't see any reason that it should be a problem to part the office between both of you. We might need different people to correspond with each of the other teams anyway. I you can split the duties between you and if Nomad Bryce accepts, I guess we could go with this proposal.

I totally agree! But the poll has flopped! Veera has won a clear victory! Congradulations! (Soo many exclamation points, if you knew me in real life, I really am that cheery and enthusiastic) I am not about to steal Veera's new position! I'm sure she'll listen to all of our suggestions anyway, as long as they are good suggestions. I am positive that she will do a good job too. I love our team! I'm so excited. I hope we got Saladin. If we got Catherine I think I'll cry. (Sarcasm)

I would bet that she would be willing to take you on as a deputy FA...I mean after all she wanted to split the responsibility orginally.
I'd like to suggest that the FA team create 1 thread per opponent team with a strategy guide on that opponent's civ, and any intel that can be gathered about the team members.
