Going Dutch
Okay everyone, one last vote. With a big push to run standalone with all custom assets for the next milestone "Dutch", now is the time to settle on an official name for C7 before going (more) public.
This will be the last open poll before the core team makes the final decision. The same vote is also happening on Discord. I've compiled and generalized a handful of the most popular options: choose your most preferred, and make your case for specific names below!

Some explanation of the choices:
- FOSS-style names were one of the two top options in the previous round, and there's been support for using "Open" or "Libre" (both popular open-source prefixes) in the name. Also given the lack of response to the popularity of Freeciv, Unciv, etc, our general consensus is now that using "Civ" in an otherwise unique name is probably safe.
- Suggesting a theme of advancing through the ages, several variations of "From A to B" were suggested in the original brainstorming and got some support, but there was no stand-out favorite.
- The other top choice in the last round was "mononym", that is a one-word title, to mirror CIVILIZATION without saying it. There are a lot of options here, but of those that are broad but thematic enough, many are already taken. Again, there was no clear favorite.
- "One Turn Deserves Another" is a clever none-of-the-above option that Puppeteer first used for a defunct experiment spun up from the same early discussions that later led to C7, and is a nod to his critical involvement in founding the open source project.
